ESTIMATING
The complete package. From budgeting, design build to bid document estimates. Our fully staffed Estimating Department has over 100 years of combined experience. Utilizing specialized computer software, designed and written exclusively for Novel Iron Works, we prepare comprehensive and detailed estimates that can translate into cost savings for our customers.
DETAILING
Novel Iron employs a full staff of in-house structural detailers. This enables us to maintain constant control and direction while in the shop drawing process. With our state of the art steel detailing software we are capable of producing three-dimensional detailed drawings with direct e-mail to engineers and architects for approval. Upon receipt of approved drawings we can then initiate our production control software and directly download the information into the CNC processing equipment. Our creative personnel, enhanced automation and ability to work with today's latest "IT" information technology could save you not only time in construction but also money in your pocket.
PROJECT ENGINEERING & MANAGEMENT
Our Project Engineering and Management Department oversees and coordinates all phases of the project from fabrication to erection. Throughout this process all of our managers strive for continuous improvement in quality, productivity and innovation. Their attention to detail for each project is a direct reflection of previous achievements and Novel's continuing commitment to excellence.
DOCUMENT CONTROL
Novel Iron's document control center is second to none. Having the ability to scan, file, print and transfer documents electronically provides the best scenario for everyone. With our OCE 9600 we can scan up to 36" wide documents. Once scanned, information can be accessed internally and can also be shared with venders as well as engineers, architects and general contractors via the internet making problem solving faster and production sooner.
